-The '''Harvest Moon series''' (Japanese: 牧場物語, ''Bokujou Monogatari'', literally "Ranch Story") is a third party series of farming and life simulations, originally developed by {{wp|Victor Interactive Software}}. At a later time, {{wp|Marvelous Inc.}} acquired the rights to the series. In later years, the series has also included a number of games using a different title outside of Japan, called Story of Seasons.
