Confusion

I don't understand parts of this template. For example, "sequel-to" results in "has a sequel to [game name]". What does that even mean? Going by the structure, it's probably supposed to mean that [game name] is the sequel to the game the template is placed on, but the parameter makes no sense the way it's worded. There's more in there like that; can they be reworded in some way?--Vellidragon 03:01, 10 January 2012 (UTC)

The idea of this template is to help manage all of the releases of a specific game, along with all of its squeals, prequels, partners, etc. as per our page here. However, it might be phasing out all together, as I convinced there was another way by Tinsatu. Please read that, and if you agree with, please help remove its use in favor of actual text. I know what the template is for and it's entirely not the issue I was bringing up. The issue are the extremely odd formulations that make no sense, like the example I mentioned. "has a sequel to" implies that for some reason, the game contains a sequel to another game, while it seems more likely that the intention was that the other game is a sequel to the current one (as the whole -from/-to system makes no sense otherwise). Formulations like that do not convey this meaning.--Vellidragon 22:08, 10 January 2012 (UTC)
I brought that up, to show you that fixing it might be a moot point. However, if you are skilled in grammar and wish to fix the template, please do so. Tacopill (Talk) 01:09, 12 January 2012 (UTC).
