NintendoWiki is a German-language free encyclopedia about Nintendo and the Nintendo fandom. It was founded on March 25th, 2011 by Dusk, and became an affiliate of the English NintendoWiki on October 18th, 2011.

History

• March 25, 2011 – The wiki was founded by an editor of NintendoSun, Dusk, with 20 users and wrote the first 100 articles in the first 4 weeks. A month later, the wiki had 200 articles and over 800 pictures.
• October 18, 2011 – The Interlingual Cooperation Of NintedoWikis (ICON) partnership has been made between the German NintendoWiki and the English NintendoWiki. The wikis exchanged links between each other.
• March 23, 2014 – The wiki is no longer hosted on "www.nintendowiki.de", but "nintendowiki.sevengamer.de".
• July 9, 2019 – NintendoWiki as hosted on SevenGamer announced that it is closing due to inactivity. The article count drops from over 1300 to 441, interlanguage links have been removed, old templates that were broken since the server move have not been fixed, and images do not display.
