Nintendo Land is a launch party game for the Wii U. The game is set in the titular Nintendo Land, a theme park with minigame attractions based upon various Nintendo properties, each of which make use of the Wii U GamePad's various capabilities. At launch, the Wii U Deluxe Set was bundled with this game, and numerous bundles released since have had this game included.

Gameplay
The main feature of the game is the titular Nintendo Land, a theme park with attractions based on Nintendo games and franchises. From the plaza, players can walk around and choose to play one of the attractions, or view comments on Miiverse from around the world by approaching visiting Miis. Players can also choose to simply play one of the games from a menu.
Nintendo Land features a total of twelve attractions, which are divided into three categories: single player, competitive multiplayer, and cooperative multiplayer. They are as follows:
- Takamaru's Ninja Castle – Based upon The Mysterious Murasame Castle, a solo game in which players hold the Wii U GamePad vertically, flinging ninja stars from the GamePad at enemies on the TV screen to earn a high score.
- Luigi's Ghost Mansion – Based upon Luigi's Mansion, up to four players with Wii Remotes must find the solo player controlling a ghost using the Wii U GamePad as they travel around trying to scare each of the other players.
- Captain Falcon's Twister Race – Based upon the F-Zero series, the player holds the Wii U GamePad vertically, tilting the controller to steer the machine and navigate the race course.
- Template:Acw – Based on the Animal Crossing series, the Wii U GamePad player controls the guards with the two control sticks to catch the other players, using Wii Remotes, as animals trying to collect pieces of candy.
- Balloon Trip Breeze – Based upon the Balloon Trip mode in Balloon Fight, a solo game in which players navigate an obstacle course to pop balloons, blowing into the GamePad's microphone to create gusts of wind to keep afloat in the air.
- The Legend of Zelda: Battle Quest – Based upon The Legend of Zelda, a co-op game in which players travel through Hyrule battling monsters; the Wii U GamePad player is an archer while the other players use Wii Remotes as swordsmen.
- Yoshi's Fruit Cart – A single-player game in which the player draws a path on the Wii U GamePad to guide Yoshi through all the fruit visible only on the TV screen before reaching the goal.
- Pikmin Adventure – The Wii U GamePad player controls Olimar commanding the Wii Remote players who are Pikmin to travel through stages and defeat enemies.
- Octopus Dance – Based on the Game & Watch unit Octopus, players use the left and right control sticks and the Wii U GamePad's gyro sensor to copy the movements of the dance instructor.
- Metroid Blast – A multiplayer game based on Metroid, up to four players using Wii Remotes are on the ground in Varia Suits, while one player is in the air controlling the Gunship with the Wii U GamePad, playing either competitively (the GamePad player against the Wii Remote players) or cooperatively
- Donkey Kong's Crash Course – A single-player game based on Donkey Kong in which the player navigates their vehicle through an obstacle course using the Wii U GamePad gyroscope to reach the finish line.
- Mario Chase – Based upon the Super Mario series, one player on the Wii U GamePad as Mario must avoid up to four other players as Toads using Wii Remotes as they chase after the one player.
Playing attractions earns the player coins, which can be used to play a pachinko game. In this game, the player must drop coins in each blue space to clear stages and win a prizes, which consist of Nintendo-based decorations that are added to the plaza.
