An untitled Pikmin mobile application is planned for release in 2021, developed jointly by Nintendo and Niantic. Similar to Pokémon GO, the game will utilize Niantic's augmented reality technology in ways that encourage walking and exploring the real world. The game will also include Miis.[2]
