Pikmin Short Movies is a series of three 3D computer-animated short films based on the Pikmin series, produced by Shigeru Miyamoto, Nintendo, and TK3 Inc., and animated by Dwango Pictures. The films were initially shown off at the 2014 Tokyo International Film Festival, and later released as a digital download on the Nintendo eShop for both Nintendo 3DS (as Pikmin Short Movies 3D) and Wii U (as Pikmin Short Movies HD).

Each of the three films included in Pikmin Short Movies has their own storylines:
The Night Juicer[edit]
It involves Captain Olimar and the Pikmin making a drink, but after the Pikmin wrongly believe a vivisected Red Pikmin are on the cutting board (rather than a box of Pikpik Carrots) become horrified.
Treasure in a Bottle[edit]
It involves a Ramune bottle with treasure inside, and the Pikmin becomes trapped in the bottle. The Pikmin also chase after a white butterfly.
Occupational Hazards[edit]
The film revolves around dismantling a backhoe for Hocotate's ship, and the hazards regarding it.
