'''Nintendo Video''' was a free application for the [[Nintendo 3DS]] that automatically downloads 3D videos whenever the system is on. The videos range from movie trailers to original videos made just for the 3DS, and four videos are available at any one time. The player has no option about which videos they receive and no videos can be saved permanently. Note that different regions will receive different videos.

Nintendo Video was terminated in Japan, Australasia and some countries on March 31, 2014, in Europe on April 4, 2014, and in the United States on June 29, 2015. Nintendo requested that users deleted the software and extra data and users who still have the software can no longer view videos; a few of them, however, could be viewed on [[Nintendo eShop]] until March 27, 2023, when the service was shut down.

You can help by filling in the missing information.

Nintendo Video was a free downloadable application for the Nintendo 3DS. It enabled the 3DS to display videos in 3D. Using the SpotPass feature, players could receive and view movie trailers, comedy clips, and music videos, all specially selected for their 3D functionality.[1] It became available in Japan, Europe, and Australia on July 13, 2011[2][3] and in North America on July 21, 2011. Like the Nintendo eShop, the app updated regularly. Users could have a maximum of four videos at a time, one of which was deleted with every update. However, starting October 20, 2011, Nintendo released previously deleted videos on the eShop in North America, where they could be purchased as permanent additions to the 3DS menu.[4][5][6] Nintendo Video was terminated in Japan, Oceania, and some countries on March 31, 2014, in Europe on April 4, 2014,[7] and in North America on June 29, 2015;[8] specific videos that were originally released on the app could be viewed on eShop, however, but they have been removed on March 27, 2023 following the service's discontinuation.
