- June 16, 2015 - Among the games shown off during the Nintendo Digital Event at E3 include Star Fox Zero (holiday 2015), Skylanders SuperChargers (September 20, 2015), The Legend of Zelda: Tri Force Heroes (fall 2015), Hyrule Warriors Legends (first quarter 2016), Metroid Prime: Federation Force (2016), Fire Emblem Fates (2016), Genei Ibun Roku #FE (2016), Xenoblade Chronicles X (Dec. 4, 2015), Animal Crossing: Happy Home Designer (Sept. 25, 2015), Animal Crossing: amiibo Festival (holiday 2015), Yoshi's Woolly World (Oct. 16, 2015), Yo-Kai Watch (holiday 2015), Mario & Luigi: Paper Jam (spring 2016), Mario Tennis: Ultra Smash (holiday 2015), and Super Mario Maker (Sep. 11, 2015)
- June 14, 2015 - Downloadable content for Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS/Wii U was announced in the Super Smash Bros. presentation, including Mii costumes, characters, and stages. Before the Nintendo World Championships 2015, Shigesato Itoi announced EarthBound Beginnings, released at 6 PM Pacific Time for Wii U Virtual Console, the first official release of the game in North America.
- June 1, 2015 - Nintendo of America released a Nintendo Direct Micro discussing several smaller upcoming titles to be released for Nintendo 3DS later in 2015.
- May 31, 2015 - A Japan-only Nintendo Direct was held, mainly discussing several games to be released later in 2015.
