The Nintendo Direct on June 6, 2017 was a Pokémon Direct. The direct aired at 7 AM PT, and was around eight minutes long.

- Pokkén Tournament DX - Announces a port of Pokkén Tournament for Nintendo Switch. Pokkén Tournament will include new features over the original such as additional playable characters and new online modes. The game will be released worldwide on September 22.
- Pokémon Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon - Announces a new pair of mainline games for Nintendo 3DS systems. The games will be an alternate story set in the world of Pokémon Sun and Moon, featuring Pokémon not present in those games. Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon will release worldwide on November 17.
- Pokémon Gold and Silver Versions - Announces that Pokémon Gold and Silver Versions will be released on Nintendo 3DS Virtual Console on September 22. These games will also be made compatible with Pokémon Bank.
