Pushmo World is a Wii U downloadable Nintendo eShop game in the Pushmo series. It is of the puzzle game genre and it is the third entry in its respective series. The game was released worldwide on June 19th, 2014. A loose sequel, Stretchmo was released for the Nintendo 3DS in May 2015. Pushmo World, like the other games in the series, was eventually removed from the Nintendo eShop after its discontinuation on March 27, 2023, making it no longer possible for players to purchase the game. However, players who purchased the title before this date can still play it as long as it is on their Wii U console.[1]
Gameplay
The gameplay is similar to previous games, and features 250 playgrounds/puzzles. The player, Mallo, a round cat, is tasked with rescuing children from atop three-dimensional, colored block puzzles called Pushmos. The player approaches a block, holds down a button, and either pulls or pushes the blocks to climb the tower. Exclusive to this version is the World Pushmo Fair, which allows the player to more easily create, share and play levels online.[2]
