Nintendo Wiki (N Wiki for short) is a website where you can essentially gather info about Nintendo ranging from mainstream info such as the games, and people who work for the company, to the most obscure info like patents, and interesting trivia. It was built using MediaWiki technology; this means that anyone can edit the Nintendo-focused encyclopedia upon registering.

Milestones

  • May 12, 2010 - After more than a couple of months since the idea was pitched, Archaic (Talk) finally got the servers set up and opened up N Wiki. However, it's kept secret from the public to ensure a peaceful development before launch. Starting articles were slowly brought up, with written info coming from the three founding wikis of NIWA.
  • May 29, 2010 - TTEchidna (Talk) joined and basically became RAP (Talk)'s second in command, resulting in speed increase in wiki development after many days of wiki drought, and ideas, and changes that helped the wiki stabilized more.
  • July 19, 2010 - Hundredth (100th) image/file uploaded: File:KodaMineo.jpg - 16:59, July 19, 2010.
  • August 12, 2010 - Hundredth (100th) article is finally created: Super Paper Mario for the Wii - 16:20, August 12, 2010.
