Should the cancelled Baten Kaitos on the DS be listed here? It's a Namco series and it's unclear who would have published it, but considering that Origins was already entirely published by Nintendo, that Monolith was acquired by Nintendo in 2007 and that we have articles for the two other games I thinik it only makes sense. I removed the rumors section per [[Talk:Kirby's Dream Land 2]], but it looks like we have sections/articles on games on this page (List of cancelled Nintendo games) has details that are still a bit murky (it's mainly my fault for being writing the base page and being overly trusting of sources); we see this nowadays with e.g. DidYouKnowGaming? videos on Pokémon Grey as much as I like that channel). However, it's hard because a lot of these franchises have smaller fan-bases, and it isn't always as simple as "this is a rumor"/"this is not". So I suggest perhaps:

1. All entries should have an accompanying reference where the original developers/publishers say it existed. Like Wikipedia's policies; there are also certain sources which may be seen as less reliable than others (e.g. a third-party magazine with no relationship to Nintendo as opposed to Nintendo Co. Ltd's [https://www.nintendo.co.jp/nom/9911/02/index.html Nintendo Online Magazine], Iwata Asks, etc. The sad truth is that it is impossible to prove veracity/truthfulness about the past regardless, as even a Nintendo employee could be misremembering the past, or a magazine regarded as unreliable being true that time, etc.

2. An exception however has been regarded to be the [[2018-2020 Nintendo, Microsoft data breaches]], because there seemed to be too much evidence pointing towards their veracity e.g. Dylan Cuthbert [https://twitter.com/dylancuthbert/status/1286789583061934080 tweeted confirming a tool he made found from the leak was real]), or [https://iimarckus.org/spaceworld/ this argument about Nintendo Space World '97]. A lot of the contents were seemingly never announced or hinted at by Nintendo or a developer at all (such as [[Sutte Hakkun GB]]), while annoucements for [[Black Out]] and [[Hello Kitty Pocket Camera]] did exist but were obscure.

Tetrisphere

I added back the Japanese テトリスフィアー with sources. Unsure if it was removed for a certain reason, like publisher, lack of data, etc.? From Evie (Torchickens) ✿ 21:38, 7 January 2022 (UTC)
