Wars Wiki is an independent wiki encyclopedia covering the Wars series, and an NIWA member. Founded in 2009, Wars Wiki was originally created as an extension of Wars Central, a now-defunct fan community based around the series that also included forums and a roleplay wiki.
Wars Wiki is dedicated to Matthew Pyke (known under the username "Shade"), a webmaster and administrator for Wars Central who was killed on September 19, 2008.
History
Wars Wiki was originally established by the user JoJo in February 2009, with help from the Wars Central community.
Wars Wiki joined NIWA on June 4, 2010, as its sixth member, and the first to be unaffiliated with the original founders.
In February 2018, following the announcement that Wars Central would be closing on March 1, Wars Wiki was moved to a new domain.
