Nintendo Pennant Chase Baseball is a cancelled game for Nintendo GameCube. It was shown at E3 and was planned for an April 4 release, later delayed to June 13.

The April 4 release would coincide with the opening date of the Major League Baseball organisation the year it would have been released.

Gameplay

The game was planned as an officially licensed MLB game, with Nintendo branding. Real world players and stadiums would feature, as well as a fast version of baseball called the "speed play mode", and the "Rookie of the Year mode" in which players could create their own baseball player to join the real ones.
