Suspend Saves (not to be confused with Suspend Points), also known as Interrupt Saves (Game & Watch Gallery series) and Bookmark (Fire Emblem series) are a recurring feature in a number of Nintendo games. The feature allows the player to resume a game from the same point even after it is powered off.
Sometimes this requires resetting the game from a specific point in the game to activate it, or by selecting a related menu option. After resetting the game, it may tell the player they can resume the game but the Suspend Save will later be erased.
