The Mii Maker is a feature for the Nintendo 3DS, Wii U and Nintendo Switch families of consoles. It is the successor to the Mii Channel and contains the features from that channel, with the added ability of being able to use a photograph as a basis for a new Mii.
Four Nintendo DS games also include a Mii Maker of sorts, despite it not being a firmware feature: Tomodachi Collection, Personal Trainer: Walking, Yosuke Ide no Kenkou Mahjong DSi and Kuruma de DS'. Additionally, a Mii Maker's intended debut was originally for Nintendo DS, before the release of the Wii.[1][2]
