Gameplay
Gameplay is similar to past Metroid Prime titles. The game is a mission-based first-person shooter, in which up to four players can team up. Players are able to charge their blaster shots, and have access to missiles and Super Missiles; other series staples such as the Morph Ball and associated bombs, however, are not available.
Also included is a multiplayer side mode called "Blast Ball", in which up to six players divided into two teams must shoot a ball into the opposing team's goal. Power-ups appear frequently to aid players that collect them, and the opposing team's goal shrinks every time the player's team scores a point.
