What's happening at Nintendo & NIWA
- June 15, 2021 - At E3 2021, a Nintendo Direct was hosted, followed by a Nintendo Treehouse: Live session for around three hours. Of the games on this day, the newest Metroid series game was confirmed to be Metroid Dread (Nintendo Switch) (the name is inspired by the cancelled Metroid Dread). Another two games announced were WarioWare: Get It Together! and Mario Party Superstars. More of Mario Golf: Super Rush was shown, specifically free updates that will be available. Advance Wars 1+2: Re-Boot Camp is yet another upcoming Nintendo Switch game and a remastering of Advance Wars and Advance Wars 2: Black Hole Rising. Kazuya Mishima from the Tekken series was revealed as a new downloadable Super Smash Bros. Ultimate character. New The Legend of Zelda series content was shown; for Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity, The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword HD, and the sequel to The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild. Celebrating the series' 35th anniversary, Game & Watch: The Legend of Zelda was announced, in a similar fashion to the previously released Game & Watch: Super Mario Bros.; including The Legend of Zelda, Zelda II: The Adventure of Link and Link's Awakening.

- May 9, 2021 - Ukikipedia has officially joined NIWA as its twenty-seventh member!

- April 28, 2021 - Dragalia Lost Wiki has officially joined NIWA as its twenty-sixth member!
- March 21, 2021 - Nintendo has announced a partnership with Niantic to jointly develop AR-based mobile titles, with the first title being based on the Pikmin series.
- March 13, 2021 - Xeno Series Wiki has officially joined NIWA as its twenty-fifth member!
- February 26, 2021 - In a Pokémon Presents presentation, Pokémon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl and Pokémon Legends: Arceus were revealed, as well as previously unrevealed information about New Pokémon Snap.
