Tsuushin Taikyoku: World Chess is a discontinued Japan-only WiiWare game. Players were able to do chess battles online, using Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection, before the service was terminated.

The game was a downloadable version of Wii Chess (a game previously only released in Europe), and was marketed as part of the Tsuushin Taikyoku series. World Chess could also do chess battles with Wii Chess.
