Noughts & Crosses (Tic Tac Toe) is a Super Nintendo Entertainment System game. The game is based on the traditional noughts & crosses (tic-tac-toe) concept, and did not have a standard release.

Instead, the game was released for Nintendo Gateway System airplane[1] and hotel[2][3] services.

Blurb

"Revisit your school days and experiences[sic] the fun of Noughts & Crosses! Your objective as "X" is to make a solid line before your "O"pponent. Winning five games on each grid size moves you to the next challenging level. Select the timer option to limit the time a player has to place a piece." [4]

Gameplay

The player plays on a 3D tic tac toe board as X, and the computer plays as O. A loss or tie causes the player to lose one life, and five wins are needed to progress to the next level. There is a time limit as well, which can be changed according to the website blurb.

There are three playable characters corresponding to different difficulties. Shell Slacker the turtle has 12 lives (Easy difficulty), Purr Gurina the cat has 10 lives (Medium difficulty) and Don Que Hooty the owl has 8 lives (Hard difficulty).
