What's happening at Nintendo & NIWA January 19, 2023 - Kingdom Hearts Wiki has officially joined NIWA! December 13, 2022 - Drawn to Life Wapopedia has officially joined NIWA! February 8, 2022 - A Nintendo Direct aired on February 9, 2022, focusing on Nintendo Switch games launching during the first half of 2022. In it, new games were announced such as Xenoblade Chronicles 3, Nintendo Switch Sports, Mario Strikers: Battle League and Fire Emblem Warriors: Three Hopes, as well as a remake of Live A Live released internationally for the first time. Add-on content was also revealed for Mario Kart 8 Deluxe (the Booster Course Pass), available to be paid separately or for free with the Nintendo Switch Online Expansion Pack. Furthermore, the next wave of Splatoon 3's co-op mode Salmon Run was announced. EarthBound and EarthBound Beginnings was added to Nintendo Switch Online. October 8, 2021 - The Nintendo Switch - OLED Model has been released worldwide. September 23, 2021 - A Nintendo Direct was broadcast worldwide. July 6, 2021 - A new model for the Nintendo Switch featuring an OLED screen as well as other enhancements was announced for release on October 8, 2021. June 17, 2021 - Please welcome our first Editor-in-Chief, Toa 95! Congratulations! June 15, 2021 - At E3 2021, a Nintendo Direct was hosted, followed by a Nintendo Treehouse: Live session for around three hours. A lot of content was revealed this day.
