An untitled EarthBound game was in development during Summer 2003 for Nintendo GameCube, beginning and ending at an unknown date. According to pictures by Baten Kaitos director Yasuyuki Honne of Monolith Soft, it would feature a setting similar to the starting towns in Mother and EarthBound. Furthermore, there is a screenshot of a battle against who appears to be Lardna Minch (Porky Minch's mother).
