The feature allows the player to create [[Mii]]s; virtual avatars of real or fictional people created by the player, or representing the player themselves. On the Mii Maker the player can adjust certain features of the Mii such as their gender, facial features, favorite color (reflected by the shirt they wear), height, weight, name and creator.

The Mii Maker is a feature for the Wii U and Nintendo 3DS families of consoles. It is the successor to the Mii Channel and contains the features from that channel, with the added ability of being able to use a photograph as a basis for a new Mii.
