- Blurb, a saying that can be usually found in the back of the boxart, grabbing the attention of the reader. These things disappear in later titles.
- Story, self-explanatory; can be excluded if a video game title doesn't have a storyline. For example, Yoshi's Cookie, and 'Yoshi'.
- Gameplay, self-explanatory.
- Other Releases
  - See Release Management for more information.
- {{{name of the franchise/series} series}}, used only if the game is part of a series.

If the article is completely done, and there's an {{exitstub}} in the page - lock it from further editing.
If there is no {{exitstub}} in the page that links to the affiliated NIWA Wiki, feel free to add more info. For example, Donkey Kong Country has a exitstub that links to Donkey Kong Wiki.
