Kuruma de DS (meaning: DS in the Car) is Japan-only Nintendo DS software to be used with the ECLIPSE AVN-ZX02i car navigation system via bluetooth (see also Nintendo Wireless Keyboard). The game was designed with long drives and traffic jams in mind, to make them less boring.
It is an example of obscure software featuring Miis. Gameplay adjusts as the player drives, similar to the eventual Pokémon GO for smart devices. Characters provide local quizzes (ご当地クイズ) and tourist information. It also features voice synthesis similar to the game Tomodachi Collection.
