Happy Price Selection (ハッピープライスセレクション) is Nintendo's line of budget games for the Japanese market, inspired by and the equivalent of the Nintendo Selects range in other regions, and the successor of other lines such as the Minna no Susume Selection for Wii titles, and the Value Selection for Game Boy Advance games. It launched on March 12, 2016, with a total of twelve titles.
The line is primarily meant to cater to new female players, among others, and keep them playing.[1]
