HarmoKnight is a downloadable Nintendo 3DS game developed by Game Freak and published by Nintendo.

Gameplay

The game stars Tempo, a young warrior holding a musical staff tasked with saving the planet Melodia from the Noizoids, and rescue princess Ariana. He is joined by various friends such as Tappy the rabbit and other playable characters who join in for certain levels. The player must strike musical notes with the staff to the rhythm of the music. Some levels themed on music from the Pokémon series also cameo.

  1. HarmoKnight may have actually been inspired by a cut minigame in Pokémon Gold and Silver Versions which featured in the Space World 1997 demo, involving a Pikachu collecting musical notes, which a Japanese fan illustrated.
