What's happening at Nintendo & NIWA September 14, 2015 - Nintendo have stated that Tatsumi Kimishima has been selected to be the company's newest CEO starting September 16, succeeding Satoru Iwata. August 31, 2015 - Nintendo have announced that the standard New Nintendo 3DS handheld will be released in North America, starting with a bundle with Animal Crossing: Happy Home Designer. August 24, 2015 - Nintendo have announced release dates for their lineup of Wii U and Nintendo 3DS games for the rest of 2015, as well as upcoming amiibo. August 11, 2015 - An update has been released for Wii U that has officially discontinued the Nintendo TVii service. July 30, 2015 - The Nintendo 3DS NFC reader/writer has been released in Japan.
