Square Enix is a third-party video game developer and publisher, along with a publisher of manga, anime and several other media. They have had an on-again-off-again business relationship with Nintendo, currently being under a limited-on-again.
In the past the company has developed and/or published many games involving Nintendo in someway:
- Developing games for Nintendo's Systems, often times with exclusivity in mind
- Developing games to include Nintendo's Character's in them
Franchises and Games of note
- Kingdom Hearts series
- Pokémon series
- Super Mario series
- Mario Sports Mix (Wii, 2010-2011)
- Mario Hoops 3-on-3 (Nintendo DS, 2006-2007)
