September 25, 2015 - The Nintendo 3DS NFC Reader/Writer was released at retail in North America. September 14, 2015 - Nintendo have released a notice stating that Tatsumi Kimishima has been selected to be the company's newest CEO starting September 16, succeeding Satoru Iwata, as well as plans for an internal restructuring. August 31, 2015 - Nintendo have announced that the standard New Nintendo 3DS handheld will be released in North America, starting with a bundle with Animal Crossing: Happy Home Designer. August 24, 2015 - Nintendo have announced release dates for their lineup of Wii U and Nintendo 3DS games for the rest of 2015, as well as upcoming amiibo.
