- May 24, 2024 - Nintendo has announced that it plans to open a second US store, Nintendo San Fransicso, in 2025
- May 8, 2024 — Nintendo World Championships: NES Edition is announced for Nintendo Switch on Nintendo eShop in a trailer. The release date is July 18, 2024 and there will be a special Deluxe Set including a replica gold Game Pak, five pins, thirteen art cards and a physical Game Card. This announcement follows its accidental reveal on the official ESRB website the previous week.
- May 6, 2024 — Nintendo has confirmed in a tweet that an announcement regarding the successor to the Nintendo Switch will be made within the 2024-2025 fiscal year. A Nintendo Direct scheduled for June 2024 was also confirmed, though the successor will not be mentioned.
- February 21, 2024 — During a Nintendo Direct Partner Showcase, various games were introduced developed by Nintendo's partners. A new upcoming game published by Nintendo was revealed; Endless Ocean: Luminous. The Splatoon 3: Expansion Pass - Side Order was released. Additionally, there were updates for additional legacy games on Nintendo Switch Online. Outside of Japan, original Rare developed and Nintendo published games; Snake Rattle 'n' Roll, R.C. Pro-Am (NES), Battletoads in Battlemaniacs, Killer Instinct (SNES), Blast Corps (Nintendo 64; for the Expansion Pack). In Japan only; Mother 3 (Game Boy Advance).
- October 26, 2023 — MiiWiki has officially joined NIWA!
