What's happening at Nintendo & NIWA
  • August 24, 2015 - Nintendo have announced release dates for their lineup of Wii U and Nintendo 3DS games for the rest of 2015, as well as upcoming amiibo.
  • August 11, 2015 - An update has been released for Wii U that has officially discontinued the Nintendo TVii service.
  • July 30, 2015 - The Nintendo 3DS NFC reader/writer has been released in Japan.
  • July 29, 2015 - The redesigned and updated Miiverse has launched.
  • July 11, 2015 - Nintendo President and CEO Satoru Iwata passed away at age 55. Shigeru Miyamoto and Genyo Takeda will be directing the company in his place until a new president is appointed.
