An untitled Pilotwings prototype was a cancelled game in the Pilotwings series in development by Factor 5, possibly for the Nintendo GameCube. The game was directed by Julian Eggrebrecht and was intended to be a reboot of Pilotwings set during the Cold War inspired by the 1983 film The Right Stuff.[1][2]

This fact followed popular rumors on the Internet surrounding a potential new Pilotwings game, similar to a rumored Kid Icarus game for Wii. Another rumor was concerning a remake of the original Pilotwings for Game Boy Advance.

Another rumor unrelated to the previous two, was concerning a game called Pilotwings 64 II.
