The Minecraft series (© Mojang 2009-2020) is a third party series of games themed around an original sandbox game by Mojang Studios, which is (as of 2020) documented as the best-selling video game of all time.
In Minecraft, the protagonist (Steve or Alex by default) explores an algorithmically generated world and explores it, where they can perform actions like extracting materials, crafting tools and items, building structures, and fighting enemies.
Two ports of the games to Nintendo consoles have been partly published by Nintendo. On October 1, 2020 Steve was announced as an upcoming downloadable character, with Alex, a Zombie, and an Enderman as alternative costumes.[1]
Games published by Nintendo
- Minecraft: Switch Edition (2017/2018)
- Minecraft Dungeons (2020)
