Mega Man (also written as MegaMan or Megaman) is a series of platforming games created by Capcom. The games star the titular character Mega Man (or an incarnation of the character) and largely involve players not only running and jumping but also shooting to clear through enemies. The Mega Man franchise is one of Capcom's most popular and best-selling properties, with total sales of over 42 million units worldwide.[2]
