The Custom Robo series was created by video game company Noise; which was originally a member of the now defunct Marigul Management group (lead by Nintendo/Recruit to assist companies in creating new game related works/IP). Noise still exists, but is no longer a member of the group.
The franchise focuses around the Custom Robos; robots that can be customised by the player with special parts, and forced to battle in virtual colosseums known as "Holoseums".
