New Play Control is a line of Nintendo GameCube games re-released for the Wii and updated with a new control scheme making use of the Wii's motion control. In addition to this, the New Play Control! games also feature widescreen support and enhanced graphics, in addition to occasional new features and content.

The line was originally announced in Japan on October 2, 2008, under the name "Play on Wii Selection" (Wiiであそぶセレクション Wii de Asobu Selection). The first game to be released under the line was Donkey Kong Jungle Beat in December of 2008 in Japan, and the line launched for the rest of the world in March of 2009 with Mario Power Tennis. Not all games under the New Play Control! banner were released in all regions, and not all games were released around the same time; Chibi Robo: Plug into Adventure! was the only game not released outside Japan.

Each game released featured a reversible cover, the default side featuring the "New Play Control!" banner around the original cover and a description of the series, while the other side features the original release's cover.
