Donkey Kong 64 is a video game released for the Nintendo 64 in 1999. It was developed by Rare and published by Nintendo.

Story

Donkey Kong 64 begins on Kong Island. There resides many Kongs, a family of primates, on that island. However, four Kongs are kidnapped and the island's bananas are stolen by King K. Rool, who is from an island near Kong Island. The hero of the island, an ape known as Donkey Kong, goes out to rescue them. He first goes to a sector of the island, where there is a cave. Around this cave, Donkey Kong finds a banana. He goes into the cave, and finds that he needed the banana to enter the area a door goes to in the cave, known as Jungle Japes. Donkey Kong enters the area, and begins to explore the area.
