Nintendo World Championships: NES Edition is an upcoming game based upon the Nintendo World Championships competitions, to be released for the Nintendo Switch. The game is set to be released in July 2024.
In most regions, the game will be released as both a digital download and in a physical "Deluxe Set" that includes a set of collectable pins and a set of art cards depicting the covers of the included NES titles; the North American and European Deluxe Sets also include a replica gold NES Game Pak with the game's logo based on the Game Paks given to winners of the original event, while the Japanese set includes the Nintendo Switch Famicom Controllers.[1][2][3]

Days prior to the game's announcement, Nintendo World Championships: NES Edition was accidentally leaked by a ratings page posted on the ESRB website.[4] The game would be officially announced with a release date on May 8, 2024.[1]
