The Harvest Moon series (Japanese: 牧場物語, Bokujou Monogatari, literally "Ranch Story") is a third party series of farming and life simulations, originally developed by Victor Interactive Software. At a later time, Marvelous Inc. acquired the rights to the series. In later years, the series has also included a number of games using a different title outside of Japan, called Story of Seasons.
