The Home Menu refers to the main firmware menu on a variety of Nintendo consoles. It allows the player to do a variety of things, such as accessing installed software or the current cart/disc in the system, viewing the Nintendo eShop/Wii Shop Channel, viewing the Friends List, and applying settings for the system like the screen brightness.
Controllers for consoles with the Home Menu include a button with a house on it. Pressing it will allow the player to return to the Home Menu.
