(Replacing inaccurate terminology -- NTSC and PAL solely refer to the analog signals from back in the day and DON'T correspond to different regional releases of video games or home video releases of movies. The weapon is also in Smash Ultimate too.) |

Features and functionality
The Super Scope comes with three pieces: the device itself (called the Transmitter), the Receiver (SNS-014), and a detachable scope. It requires six AA batteries to operate. The device uses a bazooka-like design, with a handle on the front and a shoulder mount on the back. On the top of the gun are three buttons: a power button for the Super Scope, a Pause button, and a Fire button. The handle on the front also features a "Cursor" button, to enable an on-screen targeting reticle. The power button has three settings: Off, On, and Turbo.
The sight attaches to the top front of the gun, which features two sets of clips for either left or right-handed players, and behind the clips is a release button to detach the sight. The Receiver connects to the console's second controller port.
