The Game Boy Printer Color (Pocket Printer Color in Japan) was an unreleased successor to the Game Boy Printer, which would have connected to the Nintendo 64DD via Mario Artist: Paint Studio using the 64GB Cable and possibly an MBC4 GB Printer Cartridge.
Based on unused code in the game, it would have been a large improvement over the original Game Boy Printer, supporting a 320x240 RGBA5551 image like from a Nintendo 64.[1]
