The General Knowledge Training series[1] (©Nintendo/HAL Laboratory) is a series of Nintendo published games which test the player's "joushiki power".
Joushiki (常識) is a word that can be interpreted in a number of ways, such as "general knowledge", "courtesy/social skills", "common sense"; likewise the games are not restricted to general knowledge but a broader range of topics, namely the player's Courtesy, Society, Intelligence, Traffic, Art and Music skills for Japan, in a style similar to the Brain Age series.[2]
