The Fire Emblem mobile game is an upcoming installment in the Fire Emblem series, to be released for mobile devices. Originally announced at an investor's meeting in April 2016 and planned for release in the fall season, the game was pushed back to the next year to allow Super Mario Run to launch first, and is now planned to launch before the end of March 2017.[1]

Gameplay

According to DeNA executive Isao Moriyasu, the Fire Emblem mobile title will be a "pure-game app" compared to the company's first mobile title, Miitomo.[2] This game will retain the tactical strategy gameplay of past Fire Emblem titles, but is designed to be more accessible for a mobile audience.[3] The game will be a "free-to-start" title.[2]
