The Mii Maker is a feature for the Wii, Nintendo 3DS, Wii U and Nintendo Switch families of consoles, as well as the smart phone game Miitomo. On the Wii, it is part of the Mii Channel. Later versions added the ability of being able to use a photograph as a basis for a new Mii, or import one using a QR Code.
Four Nintendo DS games also include a Mii Maker of sorts, despite it not being a firmware feature: Tomodachi Collection, Personal Trainer: Walking, Yosuke Ide no Kenkou Mahjong DSi and Kuruma de DS'. Additionally, a Mii Maker's intended debut was originally for Nintendo DS, before the release of the Wii.[1][2]
