|} amiibo tap: Nintendo's Greatest Bits (named amiibo Touch & Play: Nintendo Classics Highlights in Europe and Australia) is an application for Wii U that allows players to play demos of classic Nintendo games using amiibo.

Gameplay

By tapping an amiibo on the Wii U GamePad's NFC sensor, the player can unlock demos containing several moments from NES and SNES games. Tapping the amiibo assigns a random game to that amiibo which can be accessed by scanning it at any point. Players have three minutes (180 seconds) to play through each scene, and can switch between a number of different scenes by tapping the amiibo corresponding to the game.
