The Mii Channel is a Wii Channel built-in the Wii. It was succeeded by the Mii Maker for Nintendo 3DS and Wii U.

Various precursors to it existed for the Nintendo 64DD and Nintendo DS namely in the Mario Artist and Tomodachi series as well as the cancelled Stage Debut.

The feature allows the player to create Miis; virtual avatars of real or fictional people created by the player, or representing the player themselves. On the Mii Maker the player can adjust certain features of the Mii such as their gender, facial features, favorite color (reflected by the shirt they wear), height, weight, name and creator.

Trivia

  • During his battle with terminal illness, Satoru Iwata changed his Mii to reflect his loss in weight.
