Kaptain K. Rool and his band of creepy cutthroats, the Kremlings, have kidnapped Donkey Kong, and it's up to Diddy Kong to save the day! With the help of his girlfriend, Dixie, he'll have to race all over Crocodile Isle to save his hero—from the decks of the Gangplank Galley to the murky mire of Gloomy Gulch!"
Story
King K. Rool, now under the alias Kaptain K. Rool, has captured Donkey Kong in hopes of gaining the Banana Hoard as ransom. Not willing to give up the hoard after Diddy Kong's recent adventures, Diddy and his girlfriend Dixie Kong, as well as the rest of the Kong Family, set out into enemy territory, Crocodile Isle. There, Diddy and Dixie must travel through the massive, towering island to rescue Donkey Kong.
