My Nintendo Picross: The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess is a puzzle game for Nintendo 3DS, released in 2016 as a My Nintendo reward for 1,000 Platinum Points. It is a picross game themed after The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess, specifically based on the HD remake.
My Nintendo website blurb
This is a My Nintendo-exclusive downloadable game for Nintendo 3DS systems. In this puzzle game, you'll use numbers on a grid as clues to complete a hidden illustration with The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess theme. You can play all 45 puzzles in Picross mode or Mega Picross mode.
Gameplay
The game plays similarly to an actual picross puzzle, in which the player must fill in the correct squares on the touch screen to create an image of an item or character from The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess. Specifically, the game reuses many elements from Pokémon Picross. Players can switch between stylus controls and d-pad controls at any point, though switching between filling in squares and placing X's can be done with the circle pad in addition to tapping it for either. Players can also toggle the Answer Autocheck, which fills in a square with the correct answer if filled in wrong, though it adds extra time to the timer as a penalty. Also available is the Hint Roulette, in which the player stops a roulette to fill in a single row and column.
Included in the game are three modes: Picross, Mega Picross, and Micross. If a puzzle is completed in under 60 minutes, the player can see the solution in color, and the player earns a Miiverse stamp for every puzzle completed. Players can also share completed puzzles on Miiverse.
